I don't really care who is wrong here. It's just sad that this is going on and it makes me MAD to see people fight.
|
I understand that and I agree, but there was a reason for it, that was left out. It still boils down to this, If they weren't there then they weren't hurt.
|
These protesters have NO right to keep people from going to/leaving work! If they were in my way, I'd kick the S*Ht outa them! Let's face it, these punks are just looking for a cause to fill the void instilled by the Liberal/socialist crap they've been fed all their lives by the public education system.
I mean, it's not like they're gonna' be DRAFTED and FORCED to fight for something they don't believe in! They obviously just want to get out of the house and do something, and this is the "Cool" thing to do. What a bunch of loosers! }---:) |
These so-called protestors in Oakland were preventing the shipment of supplies to Our Boys in Iraq. The same "Boys" that are willing to DIE so these rabble can protest. I don't see how you can protest violence and war by becoming violent. Luckliy they didn't use real bullets, like they would do to protestors in other countries.

Those people should be prosecuted for sabotage. Period. Read the law.
http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/sabotage.html U.S. CODE AS OF 1/02/01 TITLE 18 CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE PART I, CHAPTER 105 - SABOTAGE Excerpt: Section 2153 (a) Whoever, when the United States is at war, or in times of national emergency as declared by the President or by the Congress, with intent to injure, interfere with, or obstruct the United States or any associate nation in preparing for or carrying on the war or defense activities, or, with reason to believe that his act may injure, interfere with, or obstruct the United States or any associate nation in preparing for or carrying on the war or defense activities, willfully injures, destroys, contaminates or infects, or attempts to so injure, destroy, contaminate or infect any war material, war premises, or war utilities, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than thirty years, or both. ----- I voted for Gore, but in times of war, I support my president. Sometimes wars can be fought for the right reasons. So protest if you choose, but follow the law. By the way, KingCobra, are you also "mad" about the tens of thousands of people and perhaps many more who were murdered, raped, and tortured under Saddam??? Rape rooms, chemical baths, human shredding machines. How come we never saw protests about THAT? How many people have to suffer for others to DO SOMETHING!!! Should we have waited another 12 years? I mean really, did we learn nothing from the Holocaust. Just listen to the stories of the free Iraqis. The truth is there and now they can tell the world...without fear. I don't know about you all, but when I saw those people with their families celebrating the fall of Saddam, I felt an enormous surge of PRIDE for the USA! So I have no pity for the protestors or the so-called Hollywood elite. Michael Moron and Susan Saranwrap can kiss my... MNKid |

Let me start by saying no one likes war, but I do belive that when our troops are sent over to fight we should support them, maybe not agree with what they are there for. But rember they are in the in military to protect this county, and our freedoms, they can only do what our goverment tells them to do.
That brings me to the goverment thing. Our goverment as alot of problems, it always has and alway will as with any form of goverment. but if you compare it to 99.9% of the other countrys in the world, the freedoms we have (speech, religon, ect.) its not so bad. Now the protesters, the freedoms I was just talking about, gave them the right to be able to protest, agains our goverment try that in another country(bad idea). Where the protesters made there mistake was blocking the supplys and stuff, because this put our troups at risk. they have the right to protest as long as they was not hurting anyone. by cutting off supply they was hurting someone. now should it of been handeled differently, that is a good question. I dont know know how many times they was asked to leave. you alway have a few that could care less they are just theire to stir up troble. I hate that any one got hurt, but if they hadent done what they did what would of happend. when you get that many people and if they are out of control. sorry for the way iam going to say this. but they need a reality check. do your protesting on the governers door step. do it the right way. dont be like the people that just want to cause trouble. |
Yep, those protestors deserved what happened to them. Recently, we had a group block the street here in CA. The police told them to move, they didn't, so they arrested them. If you are going to protest, be prepared to suffer the consquences(ouch, spelled that one wrong!).
