Anyone knows how to upgrade it ? Thanks a lot ! |
what exactly is the name of the system?
anyway select ur system here http://support.dell.com/us/en/DHS-BSD_reg.asp?segId=5DS and if ur bios is flash upgradeable u will be able to download the flash update for it.. |
Thank you very much but I had looked at that before. This one

You may want to take a look at a company called MicroFirmaware.

OEM makes/tweaks their bios, so any other bios other then the one from dell in your case will not work :( and about them selling you the computer and then no one cares... I was working on a computer for a freind, he messed up his OS and wanted some upgrades done to it. Well he also wanted to have XP installed on his machine if possible. Turns out when checking their site for compatibility that the BIOS that his machine had was not compatible with XP. So he called DELL and they told him the only option he had was to buy another system, and or trade up his old one for credit. They were not aking any new BOIS for his system or any similar system. So he was screwed with that :( |
That sucks, they force you to buy a new system, instead of allowing an upgade.
