F.Y.I.
Recently I seen my max upload speed seemed to be 13kb/s rather than the 15kb/s they say my cap is. I called and complained to my broadband cable company and asked if they could raise the cap on me a little so I can get the 15kb/s max. I really didn't think they would, but it was worth a try. It worked, they did! Now I'm getting between 21kb/s and 22.5kb/s. Go ahead and try it with your ISP and post your results here. I'd love to hear what happens. Be ready to tell them what your uploading. For me, I said several digital family photos to www.Sutterfly.com :D |
that would be nice if my isp would do that.

I made complaints in the past, no go with comcast, they say NO they cant do anything about that and then try and sell you the package that is twice as much :(

Of course, I suppose this will only work if you are getting less than what's promised. Cool that it worked for you!
I have Comcast cable and I am supposed to be getting at least 500K upload, but I'm not getting it. I don't pay for it though. Whatever it is, we're getting half of what was promised though. :( Download is a whopping 1.5 though. :) -=edit=- Shite! Comcast is going to get their bawls broke. I just did a line speed test at Broadband Reports and they peeled back our top speed to ~768 K! We're paying for 1.5!! I recommend everybody should check periodically after finding this out! We just got this connection two months ago! |
