Microsoft just updated their shitty release of their Promise drivers. Looks like they rolled it back to an earlier build that actually works.
I downloaded it and installed without any problems under Windows XP Professional.

I install them too and all is working fine ;)

This is not the same thing when they post their first update:

My computer was crazy with thes old drivers...he he the pc was booting and shutting down at the same moment. No safe mode or really really slow. I finally roll back my drivers before my hard drive fail :rolleyes:

And I don't really know but I think some people are scrapping some hardware with the old drivers.

Not me, I'm lucky :)

Take care with drivers from m$soft

I've had these installed and been running problem free:). Thanks to those that did the first install and posted there problems. I had just put my system together and decided to wait to update that.
