Hi,

I was wondering what are the key differences between Windows XP Embedded with SP1 Release and a Windows XP slipstreamed with SP1. More info about Windows XP Embedded with SP1 Release is here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/emb...ew/default.asp

But I can't see any difference.

There Are No Differnces With it at all, Just the embedded one is the version that you buy, if you slipstream you usually do it your self.

To "clarify" :

Windows XP Embedded is as the name says, a special version of win XP,
and the one that you referr to, is now available with SP-1 integrated.

This is not referring to a Win XP Home/Pro with SP-1 integrated.

The embedded lets you create your own "distros" of WinXP, for specialized use, like in computerisided cash-registers.
