I'm using Windows XP with ATi Radeon 7000/VE DDR(it works well).
Then I got an ATi TV Wonder VE card. I installed the card and software(the drivers aren't Digitally Signed by MS). As I installed all the drivers: ATi TV Wonder BtCap, WDM Audio(and Video) capture. The Network adapters sudden produced many WAN Miniports. A blue screen came up after Reboot and asked me to uninstall one of my hardware or go to Safe mode and disable the drivers. I just did it. Does that mean I can't use this card under XP at all ?
Any advice will help. Thanks you guys. Best lucks.

Have you gone to ATI's site and found the latest drivers (XP or Win2000). I'm currently running the 8500 with a TV wonder right now with no problems on XP.

It probably did not come with XP drivers you should have thought ahead on that, a good rule I follow is to always check for the latest drivers before attempting a new hardware install. Also the latest drivers for XP that I have used for my Radeon are not digitally signed but they work fine so don't let that stop you. I don't know why but certifying thier drivers with M$ doesn't seem to be much of a concern for developers.

PS Windows Updates is heavy on ATI drivers FYI.

I found "wxp_r128_6_13_3279.exe" and "MMC_7_1_tvwonder". After the setup for those applications above. I got the new driver but it still wouldn't work. I'm going to install Windows 2000 Pro on my other partrition and see how it'll be.
It's time for me to work on my school-works. These 2 weeks goin' to be awful for me to work in an awffice and being full-time student.
I'm really appreciated your posts. Best lucks.

Hi guys. My TV Wonder VE PCI card worked under Windows2000Pro. And in Windows XP, I have to disable the "ATI TV Wonder BtCap, WDM Video Capture" in safe mode, then restart, enable it w/out reboot again will be able to work. If I reboot, the blue screen came up with:
Stop: 0x0000007e ( 0x00000005, 0x00000000, 0xF7AFC7E0, 0xF7AFC4EO).
Then I have to redisbale the Video Capture in Device Manager in Safe Mode. So, it's work but annoying.
Any idea?
Please help me. Thank you.

PS: The latest driver I got is 4.12.3.0 4/24/2001.
