Hi

I need some help with Media Player v9.0 and the Mini-Mode option which is not showing on the taskabr once I have enabled it.

I was using Media Player and wanted to minimise it so that I could see full display on my monitor. I clicked on the minimise button and got another window telling me that "Mini-Mode" was a feature of
Media Player that provides quick and easy access to the player when it is minimised.

I followed the instructions and the player minimised but I don't see any mini-player to the left of the clock. O only see the minimised button that you would normally get if you had just minimised it normally. I have tried moving my quick launch icons to the left but the mini-player still does not appear.

Any ideas?

Regards

Had the same, but blamed the .NET I was running it on. I read somewhere that the minimode function would only work on XP.

right click on taskbar -> toolbars -> Windows media player

enable that, Mini mode will work on minimize, sorted.

Not on a .net box :(

Not even with the XP themes enabled.

Hi DAB10788

Got it working ok now but it seems a bit "on & off". It works most of the time but every so often, even though MP minimises to the taskbar, I don't get the mini-mode player by the clock.

Cheers

i think u just have to mess around with unlocking the taskbar moving mini-mode then locking it again..

Hey Brave;

3 XP pro pc's in this house; the "mini mode" toolbar works on 2 of the 3, but not the third one!
I've tried EVERYTHING, but just like other "features" of Windows, they don't always work the way the are "supposed" to!!
LMAO!!

Unlike other rippers, I didn't find in Windows Media Player to enter the Album Name before Ripping a CD without going online. Any ideas?
