Anyone know how to fix that. That's what I get when the first cd auto runs. Yes I know you can just run E03ADXRC.msi but I dont understand whey I get this error when you run setup. The file is there. I am trying to make a perfect ISO for a friend who dont know shit about computers so I am trying to make it easy for him as possiable (using autorun of course :) ) So anyone know. Kinda weird. Setup.ini says: [Startup] Product=Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia Deluxe 2003 PackageName=E03ADXRC.msi cya, Will |
look in the root of the cd and find autorun.inf , and you can tell what's what in there i'm sure, change the path to the msi file and it should work :)
|
Yea I did that then burned it hopeing it would work and it did.
But whats driving me crazy is that you put the first cd and start installing and it asks for 2nd and you put it in but it wont contintue drving me crazy kinda sucks because to install it u have to excrat everything from each cd to the hard drive fist and then run setup :( |
well mine won't autorun the first cd, but thats ok since i have to install it on everyone's computer anyway. autorun file shows everything to be correct.
|
Yea just remember 2002 was just like this as well. :(

Hi,
I believe the important file for CD AutoRun is: Autorun.inf Quote:
Autorun.ini (watch the WordRap) Quote:

Cheerz :) ;) :D |
Hi,
Have you tried installing from CD because I think something strange happens installing from Hard-Drive. I did a search of *.in on CD1, but it also detects .in? files on Hard-Drive, check out the attached wierd.gif   :o  It doesn't even see the EULA.ini's in EE and ER on CD1. Cheerz :) ;) :D |
i installed from the cd, but i think my problem was because i turned off autorun on my computer.
