I have been thinking about doing this too :) I forsee 2 possable problems in doing this. 1. Most VCR's don't have a S-Video connectors. :( 2. Your divx/avi would have to be shown in full screen so desktop and player would not be in the video stream. To get around problem 1. You will need some cables/Adapters.
