I was wondering how the news area is broken up now. I was going to post a story about an RIAA test case, but I was not sure where it would go. It's not software, hardware, or IT so...where would general news go then?

i think only the news team is allowed to post there, but you can pm a news team member or an admin and tell them what you want posted.

I see. Well, I would have asked to be on the news team, but I only post maybe a few news clips a week since I am busy right now in RL, so I did not bother. I did not know whether a minimum amount of activity as a member of the "news team" was required. Sometimes I find some really interesting stories.

there isn't a minimum amount, so if you still want to be on it i'll gladly promote you :)
