I installed windows server 2003 (.net) RC2 ... and I am trying to set up a webpage with IIS... the thing is that if I want to connect to my webpage from somewhere outside (work, friends) before I can access the webpage, it asks for a username and password. If I give the administrator account and password, I can go on and acces the page. What could I do to make it not ask for a username and a password?
Thank you in advance for your help. B)

Two things you might wanna check:

1. Allow anonymous acces to the website. You can find this option on the security page of the properties of your website.
2. The user IUSR_yourservername must have access to the folders your website is stored.

Of course the are logs of other possible causes to you problem, but lets start at the most obvious ones. :)

Hopes this helps.
