So how should I go about lover clocking.

Want to overclock a geforce256 ddr and my athlon xp proccessor.

Software?

I know there is that came with the geforce called doctor or something like that but i lost the cd so.

PS: Done this before, just want to know what you think. Maybe others have tried it on this proccsor, etc. and know what settings are best.

have you unlocked it, your XP? you need 2 different adhesives to go about doing that. put a good, high-performance heatsink and fan combo on ur video card chipset and the processor, go through the bios change the multipliers.. increase voltage when necessary (if it wont boot into windows) make sure ur cpu temp stays under 50C, a safe temp, use a tool like Powerstrip to change the clocks on ur vid card, and you should be good :L

Well decided not to overclock this time. Dont feel like risking it. Dont have any money if it fucks up. That and my car bill is a pain in the ass and now i have to pay for my second term of college. :( Fucking sucks.
