Is there an FTP program that will auto resume without actually having to click on resume; meanning if I'm away it won't just sit there waiting for me to click on it before it resumes; any help here would be most welcomed.
Thanx in advance Xeno51... |
Hey Try flashfxp or acseftp with any of them if you're connected to an ftp server and you have the resume broken downlod checked and the connection to server has been lost for example lets that you're downloading from my server and I had to restart my PC then you wouldent have to do anything as soon as my server came back online you and your PC finds mine then any of the above ftp client would then resume downlod without nay user input required but tht would have only happend if my server had suppourt for broken downlod, but hey there are other ftp clients out there that do the same thing I only told you about those two because there two of favorites. OH! Yeah! and leechftp allso but you have to configure them to do so.

Well.... LeechFTP is good... but it hasn't been updated in God knows how long and not everybody will let you have mutiple connections anyway (wich is Leech's strong point)
To get autoresume to work in Flash just goto "Options" / "When File Exists" and set it up however you like it. |

Yes you are right, it hasn't been updated for a while, but why fix it, when it ain't broken The only thing "missing", is support for FXP and mutlti part download of single file's. If you look at the "price" for it, you will find you get your money's worth :D BTW : Try it's "BigBrother", BitBeamer. |
