I have just installed Serv-U 3.0 and I made the user accounts and all that and it's all set up, but when I give someone the address and U/P to it, they can't connect to it. The server is started as well, it says. Is there anything I have to set to start it?

Well, I'm going to use a 56k to serve small apps, like beta ones and stuff, but not XP. And my Firewall is the one that comes with Windows XP.

That's sweet Bugs, but 56kers like us should stick to long downloads.
FTP serving really needs at least 128K ISDN and above :( You could try what I did, and upload to a host for everyone... :( but they are quick to delete stuff nowadays. :) |
