did you try checking in disk mangement to see if the DVD rom is being assigned a drive letter?
Try this:diskmgmt.msc Start---->Run and type diskmgmt.msc in the box this will bring up the disk management console. The bottom half of the window displays all the drives in your computer, check they all have a drive letter assigned |
Thanks DoG,
But I have it now ;) The problem was two pins broken is the DVD drive :o JUst replace them today and all is working fine ;) |
