Could somebody please say something to Fisher about posting news about software elsewhere? IMO, software news should have it's own topic heading. IMO, member submitted news should be for only specifically IT news and hardware news. Things happening in the tech industry, NOT the software industry. Every once in a while, I see a great piece of news that I wish to post, but I DON'T because I know it will get pushed down by Fishers 10+ posts a day about software. :( No offense to Fisher, but I don't think his software posts should go there.

In future might i suggest that you PM a mod or admin before posting comments that might embarras another member.

Maybe it's time for a hole new "Software News" section. Maybe even "Fishers Software News Section". I think Fishy deserves that much, look at all the work he's doing. People benefit from the news he's bringing us, I found quite some great goodies myself thanks to Fishers news!

I get your point though Darkwolven, that's why a software news section might not be such a bad idea.

Yes. As I pointed out to Dog via PM, I am not trying to embarrass anybody. His stats are impressive, but they speak for themselves.

I appreciate his work. I too have found some neat stuff thanks to him! It is just clogging up the news section and I may be misled, but I thought that sections was for Tech news, not software and betaware posts.

However, this is a good time to discuss this as we are well into some redesigning etc.
