I love all of their music. Music wise, they are one of my fav bands. But the stuff they do, ie, the entire Napster thing, and let's see, they haven't put an album out in what, two years now, and that was S&M, is rediculous.

The older Metallica Pre- "And Justice For All" was good - but then when they got the Want-a-be bass player (Who shoud have stayed with Flotsam and Jetsom), then came out and claimed they invented heavy metal (Black Sabbath are the ones who invented heavy metal)... Not to mention stereotypes everybody - Made me hate them.

Not to mention I can not stan Lars Ulrich - if he would fall off the face of the earth it would be no loss.

Another thing that makes me laugh is that Kirk Hammet thinks he can play guitar - The only thing he has going is that he had a couple of lessons from Joe Satriani .. Marty Friedman can play circles around him ....

Megadeth kills Metallica - The best thing that ever happen to Mustain was getting kicked out of the Want-A-Be Poser band.

You also know what Metallica is known for ??? They are known as the biggest poser band in history as well - ask anyone what their favorite song from them is and I bet they will say "One" - Ask them to name an older cd or song from them and I bet they won't know lol !!

I may get flamed for this one but in my opinion I never understood the facination with Nirvana.
