i have a home network...and whenever the other computer is off.

i get the Network Cable Disconnected thing.I dont really mind the icon *TOO* much
but the balloon thing that pops up like every 10minutes irritates me.

how do i get rid of it in win2k sp3?

Hmmm... if you want to get rid of the icon then go to the network properties of that connection and uncheck the "show icon when connected" box.... as for the balloon itself, I am not sure if that can be killed very easily.... :o

Hope this helps some :) Perhaps some other members know how to kill the balloon... :)
