hi guys i have this prob with my scsi card ihave a diamond fireport 40 dual. their are no drivers on diamond website exept for w98 & nt4 works fine in win2k but xp cannt find drivers or use old drivers any help would be grateful???

Win XP dropped native suport for Fireport 40.

A technique has been reported by others, which sometimes works to use a W2K hardware/software driver in XP.

You can try to edit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows
NT/CurrentVersion/ProductName to say Microsoft Windows 2000 instead of XP and it may install.

Also, you may have to edit the version number
or build number, depending on how hard the program tries to verify that you are installing on the correct OS.

DeviLduck tried that and didnt work well so i will be upgrading complete system so it really doesnt matter that much!! thanx anyway
