Hello you all ...
My system is like this
Win XP pro
MSI K7T Turbo R
AMD 1200
640 mb sdram 133
WD 20 GB hard disk ATA 100 7200rpm master
IBM 20 gb Ultra-ATA/66 slave
hp 9110 cdr sec master
TNT2 ultra
adsl card
And here is my problem...

My computer boots up just fine, detects all my drives.
My sitem is slow as hell and when I open the Explorer and Win task manager and click folders in explorer CPU usages peaks 100% and then and it takes about 1-2 sec to open folders
and another thing if I take out the IBM slave disk the system vill not detect the Master disk

Please help me

this could be one of two things....the version of windows XP you have or it could be your motherboard. I personally think it's windows XP because depending on the version you have XP is a bit sluggish and when you hit the start bar and open folders ...yes the cpu will jump a bit, my cpu will jump to 80 percent...now if it's @ 100 % all the time...you have a problem. If it sounds like XP problem I would reccomend you backup all your materials you need onto the disk you DO NOT install windows on. Then format and do a clean install of Windows XP...when you upgrade it's sluggish. It also could be your motherboard... my setup is a primary hd on the same ide cable as my cd rom and my other hd on the same ide as my burner...optimum setup and no problems..I dont know though, provide me with more information and ill try to help ya.
