Was thinking bout cdr's that sucked & such myself!

Have 3 kinds of blanks that will not do 16x... Is this a common prob with inexpensive blanks even though rated 16x? Best case scenerio is 8x.

Compusa SKU# 282617 goldish/blueish is the worstest offender. Is that a word? :D

Which the best blanks for least $ US or online?
thanks,

My friends and I use Verbatim Cd's If in the US you can get them at Sam's Club at a cost $30.00 for a stack of 100. These have worked VERY RELIABLE. The only time I make a coaster is when it's my fault, Plus they are rated for 16x and my frien has verified that they burn nicely at this speed.
Hope this helps :D

Yeah I use Verbatim too. Never have problems. Don't have time for messy stuff.

I have used these Verbatim disks for a few years now and have very good luck with these.
Lately there have been alot of off brand disks that are defective and either won't work at all, or won't record at full speed. I avoid the problem by staying with the Verbatim, they are very good quality, and resonable price.
Hope this helps
