AllegroSurf is a proxy server that offers Web acceleration, content filters, and more. AllegroSurf is the perfect tool for network administrators, school administrators, and even home users. Features include user and group support; user login, logout, and change password capabilities; RTSP (RealPlayer) proxy server support; a task scheduler; and event logging. It features added content filtering based on Web page titles as well as meta descriptions, and the ability to import users from a CSV text file (this feature automatically creates groups as well). In addition, ASP has been added to the default list of files that won't get pre-fetched, and graphic icons have been added to pop-up menus. It also features TCP and UDP port mapping, improved internal file storage and backup, and increased stability as well as some minor bug fixes.
