I am currently running Windows Media Player beta version and I would like to update my xp to sp1. I understand that if I have the beta version of Win Media Player on the system when I update it will cause problems. I have tried to uninstall the beta version with no success, as the exe is a protected file. Is there anyway I can uninstall this proggy so that I can update to sp1, without problems? Thanks in advance fer yer help. ...griz ;)

i updated to sp1 with no probs having wmp9 beta, m8!

sp1 does nothing to the wmp installation afaik. even you get error, you could still install the RC1 version of wmp. create a system restore point if u r still unsure.
