Spy-CD is a full text search engine for HTML, PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT and TXT CDs and DVDs, featuring word highlighting on Web pages. It is platform-independent and runs in most browsers. Spy-CD provides a Java search page that will make your CDs much more useful and user-friendly. End users don't have to install any software, they simply type in search text, click on search and a list of results is displayed. Clicking on a page title brings up that page with the search words highlighted. Spy-CD has a user interface for 8 western and 3 Asian languages. Spy-CD does standard searches, wildcards, adjacent words, logical, synonyms, and word stemming. The Spy-CD-Wizard Windows tool scans your Web pages to build and edit the search database. Spy-CD-Wizard will build a search Web page and launch your browser to test it. Both Spy-CD-Wizard and Spy-CD are fast and cope well with large sites.
