Hi,
I downloaded an ISO file today. I no need to burn them to a CDR before checking the content inside. Is there a way to access the files inside the ISO file without burning them to a CD? Please Help.... :( |
There are several utils helping you with this, among them winiso is well-known.
I would suggest that you install Daemon-tools. I bet you won't kick it out! |
havent tried Daemon-tools but will have to try it soon, have been using ISOBuster for some time ;)

thanks guys for the replies :)
anyway, i tried with WinRAR 3.00 and hopefully it showed the menu to extract to a folder. hell good. |
Both winrar and isobuster will work - I prefer isobuster.

Alpine: yes... :)
About Daemon-tools: For those of you who haven't tried it: Daemon-tools is a virtual CD/DVD-player, it can open iso-files and bin/cue-files, locally and over a network. It mounts theese imagefiles making them act as beeing readable in the same way as you read from a cd in a cd-reader. Thus it is possible to, for example, to install Office from your backup (made from the install-cd) without having to burn it, or having to unpack it into another dir somewhere. This way you also can let it act as a CD-reader for those apps/games (also copy-protected games) that need the CD in the reader. Free for private use. This tool has server very well and I have found no drawback. Recommended. |
