Microsoft to buy Powerset
 

Well, first it was a rumor (http://news.cnet.com/8301-13953_3-9940887-80.html), then an unconfirmed report (http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-9978548-56.html), and now it's a deal. Microsoft is buying Powerset.

Microsoft confirmed the acquisition (http://blogs.msdn.com/livesearch/) Tuesday on its Live Search blog.
