Just got word from Patrick that a new build of Winamp3 has been released! This seems to be the next public beta although it still says "internal" and a changelog is not supplied. First impressions... Each of your CDROMs is now listed in the playlist and the media info editor has been greatly updated.

I used Winamp 3 for a while, and in terms of speed it was awful. I'll be staying put with the lovely Winamp 2 for a while... I like it a lot and use it, but it's irritating as hell when it quits in the middle of a song. Winamp 2 works. No problem. WinAMP is getting better |
