I am really concerened that our beloved Betaone is dying a slow death..

It is a fact that the old amicable friendly betaone, as it stands is no more..

You may ask why...????

The answer is because of the NNTP... FULL STOP...

Before people would browse and do other things... It was great.......!!!!!!

I and many others would spend hours here, and we were great helping each other out etc.

This just does not happen any more....

I am sure that the old members would fully agree with this......

If finance is needed to get it right, I and many others would help......Thats a fact...

A question for you all :

Who wants the old betaone back as it was a few months back ???

I must admit I don't understand what is happening. It seems that the board is being changed to what most of us don't want. I agree it is dying, but I'm not sure how slow it will be.

I cannot comment on that at this time, but rest assured some changes will be made shortly that we are quite confident will be accepted readily by our community ;)

i really dunno what is going on :o

i pay visit to BetaONE as regualar as i did before.
and i dont see any wrong with BetaONE :o

i saw something called NNTP was there. (if it is now causing problems).
but i was never interested to see what was that. something to do with news. i dont care, i go to Member Submitted News. and out Fisher and FreeUS are there to update us. :)

As far as Im concerned B1 is still the place to be. The staff has been experimenting in some different direction and seeing that there are problems. As a team they will implement the stuff that works I'm sure. Its a great crew here at B1 . Give them thier just dues and have faith. B1 has always been a work in progress since day 1. I have to say though that B1 has lost a bit of its flavor and I too think that maybe nntp could be the culprit.
