I am running an actual legal copy of a beta version of .net that is build 3590 that was given to me by a friend that works for Microsoft. He gave me a product key and the original disk that was supposed to activate it indefinitely I thought. Since that time we have parted ways and now when I try to log in I get an error, "A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for this computer." Should I try and get a hold of build 3689 to upgrade it and will it let me do this or what can I do. It will not even let me log in, so my options may be limited. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply fares. I guess it has already been 180 days since I first loaded it. I will just try and get my fingers on the latest release and see if I can't just update it using my key. Thanks again.
