I used XP from 2462 build and never get ACPI PC in my Devices (only Standard PC)...
My WinME or win2k worked good with ACPI and nothing of my hardware were changed since that time...
It's always ON on BIOS (ACPI and APM)...

Is there any way to turn it on? (Stand by and so on)?

Please help...

Maybe you need to flash your mobo with the lastest BIOs or beta BIOs, for ACPI to work in XP.

Dunno, this is just a stab in the dark mate.

MMMmm... :)

Have you tried uninstalling the current settings in the device manager then restarting windows to see if it reinstalls to
ACPI?

Another, stab in the dark though bud.

It's strange that it didn't detect ACPI on installation.

:D

Ya - i tried, but it seems to me it's not allowed... I tried making a clear install...
Maybe some device doesn't allow do ACPI...
