Hi all! I've got a bugger for ya'll. I'm having trouble with my internet connections. I have cable modem going through a linksys router. I'm using XP-ProSP1. I can connect to the internet and browse from windows explorer, not ie6. When I load ie6 I get a dns error real fast, no hesitation. When I'm using windows explorer, file browsing, I can enter a web address in the address bar and I can surf the internet. Try to open a new window from a link or My Favorites..no go.
Any ideas why this happens? I've tried restoring, repairing. My p2p programs (kazaa,shareaza,donkey200) run fine, but only 1 web connection through explorer.
I tried Tweak-XP, Customizer XP, System Mechanic. Still happens, every now and then it'll work like it supposed to. Getting real annoying.

Try entering your ISP's DNS server address in the router proxy DNS settings, and/or in IE internet options
