Hi all! I've got a bugger for ya'll. I'm having trouble with my internet connections. I have cable modem going through a linksys router. I'm using XP-ProSP1. I can connect to the internet and browse from windows explorer, not ie6. When I load ie6 I get a dns error real fast, no hesitation. When I'm using windows explorer, file browsing, I can enter a web address in the address bar and I can surf the internet. Try to open a new window from a link or My Favorites..no go.
Any ideas why this happens? I've tried restoring, repairing. My p2p programs (kazaa,shareaza,donkey200) run fine, but only 1 web connection through explorer. I tried Tweak-XP, Customizer XP, System Mechanic. Still happens, every now and then it'll work like it supposed to. Getting real annoying. crppld |

Try entering your ISP's DNS server address in the router proxy DNS settings, and/or in IE internet options
