Tonight my friend and I installed a 60gig, second hard drive in her computer. When we rebooted the machine none of the ide devices would read. On channel one, she has her cd rom as master, and cd burner as slave. One channel 2 she has her first 40 gig hard drive set as master, and the new 60 gig drive set as slave. We went in the the bios and set it for auto detect. We have no idea what the problem could be. Now the computer won't even acknowlege any of her drives or let her boot up. We would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hello...check my reply over at Allbetas :)
Cheers IB |
Lol. I saw this question at Allbetas too. By then I just hd replied to a question there which I allreday answered here....
Ppl, this is crazy. I'm getting off-topic here but this situation is a no good. B1 and Allbetas have to big shares of common members (do I put it right here? What I mean is that a too bif deal of B1 members are members at Allbetas too, and vice versa.) This gives us the same questions, the same news, the same of a lot incl bad jokes. Ok, just wanted to say something about it. I guess the topic will occur somewhere else any day. |

and Orig's link to AllBetas in BetaONE in a post called "I am leaving.." (or something I cannot remember) made most of the BetaONE members to move/copy to AllBetas. :) i know this is bad. :( |

so if someone says, the existing post in BetaONE or other website cannot be in the both website, it is unfair for those member who not in the both sites ;) |
