Just found out these message on their site:

Due to mis-understandings about ad's on Neowin we have been forced to close the site
We already have offers of hosting and are not looking in that direction right now.
We are not sure at the moment what will happen with the site.

It has been for the most part a fun 2 years to do Neowin theres a lot of reasons to continue but there are also many reasons to stop. Whatever we do we will keep this space informed.

WtF! What kind of ads were they running that caused all that?? I didnt see anything all the times Ive been there. They even stopped linking M$ stuff to please them. That really sucks. I think neowin has been unfairly targeted. Well it looks like betaone and other sites will have to fill the gap left by this unfortunate circumstance. I think that has already been happening since neowin started having troubles. Its an opportunity for places like B1 to step up. Heres a place where you can leave a message for neobond and crew like I already did.

I guess the current host was making all kinds of demands for banner ads and pop-ups and that is something that Neobond vowed would not happen to Neowin, so rather than fight the host he just shut it down and then some people started saying sh1t about Neobond that was not true, so he has gotten pissed off.

Thanks guy. Im glad Im not one of those "people". Neowin was really providing a good service.
