Comcast: 160 megabit downloads coming soon
 

Comcast announced at CES this week that they are going to begin rolling out DOCSIS 3.0 this year. This updated Broadband service is expected to result in massive increases in bandwidth availability for cable modem users.

Comcast's main intent with it is to enable the quick distribution of high-definition video conent to users.
