Mac QuickBooks Update Deletes Desktop Folder

A big oops from Intuit. Users of their QuickBooks Pro Mac 2006 and 2007 programs might have received an update notification over the weekend which would have told them "there is not enough space to install." If users clicked OK they would either lose their Desktop folder (2006) or get a new one created with zero-byte files in it (2007).
