Text messages just celebrated their 15th anniversary (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...eir-15th.html), and as such they've become popular for such mundane tasks as finding public restrooms (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...ge-for-it.html) and calling in sick (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...-sick-via.html) --- but they are also being used for things such as flight check-ins (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...check-ins.html) and informational text alerts (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...-verizon.html). It looks like the top Democratic presidential candidates have noticed the trend.
