This is a hack that will allow you to download SP3 from windows update!
Tested and working! @echo off reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\WindowsUpdate\XPSP3 /f 2> NUL reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\WindowsUpdate\XPSP3 /v RCPreview /t REG_SZ /d 1c667073-b87f-4f52-a479-98c85711d869 /f echo XPSP3 registry key has been set. After a Format/Re-Install,, i install this SP3 !
Sp3 seem to be faster on the boot and other few things ! But, i can use only Windows Theme from MS! Each theme i've tried created by Users dosen't work ! For now, i didn't retry the application StyleXP !! Did you have the same prob ?! |
