[Home] User account not showing up
 

Need some help here with something I have never seen before.
It's my daughters PC!
She is not showing up in user accounts or control userpasswords2!
I do under my account, if I try to create a account with her username. I get account already in use. But it's not there, there is a Documents and Settings folder with her username on it. But thats all I see!
And I am able to login on her account, even after a reboot!

And I am doing a online scan (Bitdefender) now.

Her name isn't showing up on the welcome screen?

Try hitting crtl and delete twice to get the classic logon screen and see if you can log in from there. Can you let us know what windows you are using?

Control Panel->User Accts,
Rod, and Guest (Disabled)
No "Rachel" account!

Under control userpasswords2
Administrator
ASPNET
Rod

In Documents and Settings
All users
Rachel
Rod

And after reboot, I'm still able to login with her account, but only by using
Ctrl+Alt+Del

What OS are you using??

XP Home!

But this has been fixed!

I re-added her to,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ SpecialAccounts \ UserList

Some how her name had been deleted.
And seeing as I'm the only Admin on her pc it had me going!
Because I didn't do it!

There's vista home in 2 or 3 flavours and there's xp home- thats why i was asking :D
