What's the easiest and best DVD ripping program for a newbie at this?
I want to be able to copy a DVD to a DVD or a SVCD. :rolleyes:

It depends what you want , I like DVDx 1.8 or 2.0 for direct conversion to Mpeg1
If you just want to store the DVD on your H/D
dvddecrypter works well.

U can also use SmartRipper,

note that this prog ^only^ copy the dvd to 1 directory ;)

the easiest program to copy a dvd to a cd ( vcd ) is moviejack v.1.1

german version only !
