Hello,

I search where to put the autorun on in the registry and I can't find where ?

I need to put it on before running sfc /scannow because I can't run it and the last time I had run it, the autorun was ON

Please help me

Just rightclick your CD-Drive from the explorer, and choose properties. Then on the Autoplay-tab you can set the Autorun paramaters for the various types of CD-Roms.

Hope this is what you were looking for . . .

Or are you looking for this:

Quote:

Windows 2000/XP
Run the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Cdrom.
Double-click the Autorun value, and type 1 for its value. (If it's not there, create it by selecting Edit -> New -> DWORD Value, and typing "Autorun" for its name.)
You may have to log out and then log back in for this change to take effect.

And it's been said b4: Always backup the part of your registry that your going to edit b4 you do the edit. Better yet, make a new restore point b4 editing the registry.

Ok,

The solution is here, this was a real protection: Jus change the 1 for 0 ;)

Allocate the CD-ROM for local user only:
("AutoFix" Available)

Go to 'Start | Run' and enter "Regedt32." From the Registry Editor go to menu item 'Window | HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.' Within the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE window navigate to the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.' Double click on "allocatecdroms:REG_SZ:0" and change the string to 1 and hit OK.

This value entry satisfies, in part, the C2 security requirement that you must be able to secure removable

For Floppy

Allocate the floppies for the local user only:
("AutoFix" Available)

Go to 'Start | Run' and enter "Regedt32." From the Registry Editor go to menu item 'Window | HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.' Within the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE window navigate to the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.' Double click on "allocatefloppies:REG_SZ:0" and change the string to 1 and hit OK.

This value entry satisfies, in part, the C2 security requirement that you must be able to secure removable
