Apple, Burst.com patch up patent infringement suit

Cupertino (CA) - Apple will pay Burst.com $10 million as part of a legal settlement between the two corporations.

The feuding tech companies reportedly came to an agreement in the latter part of last week. In exchange for the $10 million cash settlement Apple will pay to Burst, the Internet firm has agreed to give Apple immunity over contentions with its new DVR patents, which came into question after the lawsuit was originally filed.
