Well October 2nd has come and gone, and if I remember correctly this was the supposed to be the day that M|cro$haft turned on the "key checking" in windows update...... I haven't, and was just wondering if any of you have heard anyone ranting about it..... did it happen? did it not?

I just did a test at Windows update and found 2 hotfix - they installed without any problems :rolleyes:

Strictly out of curiosity, I visited a couple places were people do those sorts of things and have seen no mention of problems.
Kind of leads me to believe that they haven't started that as planned.

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp means they have got the Windows Update version 4 --- i reckon. my XP Corp is not yet activated though, it detected two critical updates and installed without no worries. :lol:
