I personally appreciate the detailed, thourough explanation. One would have to wonder if this all TRULY began waaaay back when some of B1's members split to form a new community called ADTW. Back than, the situation was reversed.....the crew was tired of Dennis and thus decided to leave and create their own site/forum. Sad that it never lasted. Now it appears Dennis has grown more incompatible with the crew and HE decided to begin a new venture leaving his crewmates behind. Funny how things turn out like that, but if no one minds, I'll be a member of both boards.....as MANY of B1's other members have decided to do. :)

well the blame has been placed, and you left out the most important part of all, the admins/mods do not own the board the community does, and why you ask?? some of them have made donations to keep it up, but the ones who worked on the board wanted it to be theirs, not a donation but for gratitude, I am sorry but the explanation seems self serving and smells of hostile take over. We know who is in control. you have made sure of that. the explanation you have provided will make things worse and was not needed IMO

This isnt about ownership or expecting gratitude. Its about us all loving betaone. None of us wanted it to be closed because of one persons decision and thats how it all started... I dont need recognision... I need a home and friends, and thats all thats valuable to me....

thx for the info. On balance its better to explain in most cases, else some kind of anxiety creeps into a situation. Difficult decision sometimes tho, u know, to speak or not to speak.

People were asking. People make assumptions when no explanation is given. Assumptions turn into rumours.

I read it - and dont see how it could have been worded any better - it was non-attacking and to the point.

Read it, take what you want from it and move on.
