Plz I've a big problem because Nero won't install!

I launch the installation:

"please while decompressing installation files..." in my temp dir,

and a popup window appears with the message:

"Installer error: the executable file has been corrupted"

So, I've re-d/l it 4 times from the ahead site, but nothing to do, I've tested the package in a friend pc and all ok.

At last I've tested the trouble with several old versions, but all the time the same problem!!!

I've Win.NET 3663 but the problem occurs with win2k too!!!!! :angry: :angry: :(

So..... registry problem? Noooo..... reinstalled .net from the beginning and another time the same stupid popup!

I'm going crazy, plz help me because Nero is one of the essentials!

maybe a problem with permissions? is the drive/folder where youre running the exe from set up with the right permissions for you to extract or install files from?

seems like a strech, i know, but this is all i can think of...

yeah, u may be trying to installing it under limited user accounts, that's the only possible thing u may have.
if u formatted ur hdd and u got the same trouble, i think noone can help :( doup
