My dvdrom drive is always ejecting when i started to open it to play dvd or audio cd, sometime's restarting the computer didnt help. it need to shutdown completely to return to normal state & when u start to eject the drive again it will takes a long time to close the drive. i tried to change the eide cable & insert it properly but it didnt work, does anybody know how to fix this? Please help!

Toshiba SD-M1212, I already have the latest firmware for it, but there still a problem.

Go to cdfreaks.com and join the forums. They have some very sharp guys over there and "burning" is what they are about.
