Im running the SP1 since 2 weeks !!!
I don't have test it alot bcause i got some trouble !!... now .. all is ok !!

Today ...... After 1 hrs Up . . my PC reboot ...... alone !!
After this reboot .. i got a this warning !!

This PC have a trouble with the Licence

And then ... nothing to do !!! Can't enter in my PC ... ( except in Safe Mode )

So .. guys ... watch out !! Maybe MS is spying u !!

Do you have "Auto Update" turned on (it's turned on by default at install time)? Even if you do have it functioning, you should have been "safe" from M$ until Oct. 2nd (or thereabouts).

But now ... i have decide to format and reinstall !!

Supposively, this is the date that M$ is going to check all the keys against their own database to locate and disable illegal versions of WinXP. They are going to do this through Windows Update. So if you went out and bought a windowsXP, you will be fine. But if you obtained winXP illegally, M$ is going to shut you down!

Because sometimes, I have IE6 closed and NIS warm me about a cookie from MS :angry:

So be carefull :lol:

My windows is running just fine even with the stolen serial. Maybe cause I am not using windows update for my updates. I download them manually and install them.
