To All my Betaone friends I have a unique question and was wondering if anyone's expertise may help me. First of all I can't find out how to switch to playone or codeone so I post my topic here I hope its ok.
Anyway I am currently looking into creating a playstation one backup of a game I aqquirred a few weeks ago except its in a PAL format. And I was wondering how i might get a copy of of a patch that gives you the option to boot to ntsc or Pal...I have a spiderman game like that so I know it is possible, and I have tried many conversion patches but they don't work. If anyone has the knowledge or even knows where to get the option regional changer patch please let me know because after wasting about 5 cd's I decided I need help...... Thanks GoOfY4769  |
what game is it? i've been into PSX emulation a lot lately, and i think that it depends on the game, another thing might be how you are making the image of the disc, the only program i've found that works reliably is Nero, and you have to use these settings for it to work:
start nero, close the wizard, and go to cd-copy click the read options tab make the number of of retries before read error a fairly high number put a check in Ignore illegal TOC type under data tracks \ unreadable data, choose continue copying under Data mode 2, check force raw reading, and write uncorrected click ignore read errors and read audio data with sub channel, then set your image and copy options to what you want and burn let me know what game it is and i'll try to find a patch for it |
