I'm sure you recall my earlier story about software unlocking (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...surpasses.html) of the iPhone. Both iPhoneSIMFree and UniquePhones have proven the validity of their claims, either through live demonstrations, videos, or both.

UniquePhones has had a halt put to its short-term plans of releasing their software, due to a threat (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...yed-by-at.html) of legal action by AT&T. Meanwhile, iPhoneSIMFree has been pretty quiet, but it has placed a FAQ on its website, that details information about their software unlocking (though still no pricing information).
