Adding Sata drivers into Windows XP
So yes.. I have this new computer and it has Vista pre-loaded; I have the Windows XP Home CD and interested in creating a CD with XP and the sata drivers.
I'm a little confused about how to do it, I figure I need to download Sata drivers for the harddrive; like figuring out what brand I have.. would I have to do that first? Code:

1 - What type of motherboard (s-ata contoller) do you have ?
2 - Did you manage to find the drivers ? 3 - nLite will help you to append drivers (and slipstream SP's). |
If just want to add drivers I find this pretty easy

ya.. I want to do is add Sata drivers to the CD so that the installer recognizes the sata drive.
