Hi
In explorer when i select a mp3/mpeg files is it possible to have the preview in the Explorer itself instead of opening it in a mediaplayer like Windows 2000?

yes..I read in one site(it is also a BB dont quite remeber the name) regarding this feature in xp..that guy said posted saying adding one entry in the File Types in Tools->Folder options for preview..dont exactly remember the command..I tried but didnt work..
In the same post that guy had mentioned that this feature can be obtained in Windows ME..editing the Desktop.htt file and in the making autopreview="True" (the entry for Media player in explorer..I may not be exact on this)..but that too didnt work. this is a very good feature in win 2k
